It was just a great match for a flash stay in Bristol with decent value for money. Had a drink in the bar, which was very nice, and the food looked good. If you need to use the toilet, be ready for a tight squeeze.

great spot for city walks and delicious pub food
I had a fantastic time discovering nearby landmarks and indulging in the best pub food I've had during my stay, especially the crispy Yorkshire pudding and perfectly cooked beef during Sunday roast.

Noise from the band in the beer garden can be distracting in the evening.

the stay was great, very comfy beds and the food was amazin. loved the quirky layout of the hotel and the village cheww magna is super pretty. we enjoyed a lovely walk around the area for hours and it felt really peaceful. also, it was nice to have free parking available which is always a plus!
i had a bit of a problem with the shower hose being bent so the water flow was restricted. also, it got really hot in the room with just 2 small roof windows.

My kids wished the room had a ceiling fan to cool down on warm nights.

I adored the cozy ambiance in the bar area, it felt like a home away from home! 🏡 The breakfast could be improved, though, as it was a bit overpriced for what we got.

The location was great for a quick trip to Bristol Airport, only ten minutes away. I loved my spacious room with a clean and cozy feel. The soft bedding made for a comfortable night. Dinner in the restaurant exceeded my expectations. the food was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast got off to a rough start though. It took almost 45 minutes to arrive and was only lukewarm. Had some noise in the evening from the beer garden, but it wasn't too disruptive. One issue was the bathroom light. It was motion-activated and woke me up whenever the other person moved. I had to turn it off at the fuse, which wasn't ideal. it was a pleasant stay despite a few hiccups.

The staff excelled in their hospitality, especially Bruno, who made us feel truly welcome during our two-night stay. the variety and quality of food were impressive, particularly the presentation at dinner, which exceeded our expectations.
While the room was generally comfortable, it could benefit from additional amenities to enhance the overall experience.
